Course Details
The RLSS UK, ATPRA LIGHT award is recommended for facilities that have trained lifeguards or individuals with first aid certification available for emergency situations. This certification is suitable for those working in a variety of pools, including where the water is deeper than your standing depth. The course consists of 6hrs of training and assessment. Candidates are required to successfully complete a formal assessment that evaluates their theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
The ATPRA LIGHT course is available to individuals 16yrs or older who can swim 25 meters, perform a surface dive, and exit the pool unaided. Optional add-ons: AED Level 2 certificate for £25 and EFAW Level 3 certificate for £63.
