National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches LIGHT (NRASTC LIGHT)

The RLSS UK, NRASTC LIGHT or renewal, is a supervision and rescue award for swimming teachers, coaches and/or instructors working during programmed activities, such as swimming lessons. This qualification is ideal for educators working in various types of swimming facilities, including those with deep water conditions exceeding the instructor's standing depth. The course consists of 6hrs of instructional time. If a lifeguard or first aid backup is not available the standard NRASTC should be used.

NRASTC LIGHT renewal candidates must renew within the validity period of their current award by completing the course and assessment like new candidates. Optional add-ons: AED Level 2 certificate for £25 and EFAW Level 3 certificate for £63.
