Course Details
The Level 3 Paediatric First Aid covers a wide range of CPR and first aid skills, equipping the first-aider to administer first aid to children and infants. This two-day course covers a range of CPR and first aid skills related to children, providing you with the skills to ensure a safe environment for children and infants. Paediatric first aid is 12hrs and can be delivered over two consecutive days. The course comprises practical work and theoretical classroom work, as well as a practical assessment on CPR and first aid. This course will provide the learner with either a FAB Training (non accredited), Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS UK) or ITC First, Paediatric First Aid qualification which is Ofqual accredited and meets the requirements of the Early Years and Child Care Register.
The RLSS, PFA course duration is 12hr face to face and the course comprises practical work and theoretical classroom work, including practical assessment on CPR and first aid. The ITC Ofqual blended learning option is 6 hrs online and 6 hrs face to face to cover all the practical skills. See Department of Education guidance here for first aid.
