Course Details
Our Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Course is designed for anyone responsible for the care of babies and young children, including nursery staff, teachers, childminders, and school support teams.
This comprehensive 12-hour course equips learners with essential CPR and first aid skills to manage a wide range of emergencies involving infants and children. It also promotes confidence in maintaining a safe environment within early years and childcare settings.
Training includes a combination of theoretical learning and hands-on practical sessions, with assessment throughout to confirm competence in CPR and first aid procedures.
The course can be completed in two ways:
Ofqual-Regulated Qualification: Meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the Childcare Register.
Non-Regulated FAB Training Certificate: Ideal for workplaces seeking practical skills training without formal accreditation.
Delivery options:
Two consecutive days (face-to-face), or
Blended learning – 6 hours of online study followed by 6 hours of in-person practical training.
This course meets the Department for Education’s Paediatric First Aid guidance and ensures learners are equipped to respond effectively in real-life situations.
