Course Details
The Oliver McGowan Training is the standardised, national programme for Autism and Learning Disability training, developed in response to the Health and Care Act 2022. This preferred and recommmended mandatory training equips health and social care staff with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to provide safer, more compassionate, and more inclusive care. Training is delivered by certified trainers, ensuring compliance with CQC requirements and national standards. Experts with lived experience of learning disabilities and Autism co-train this course. Group maximum 30 people.
